Self talk can be quite subtle and we may not even realise the running commentary that is processing in the back of our minds. That processing is on average, between 50,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. That's a great deal of self talk we've got going on in there!

What is heard from the negative self talk can make you feel pretty lousy and the impact from such negative commentary can be quite detrimental to one's health. These negative thoughts can also be planted as a result of somebody else's comments.
Stop Being Your Own Worst Enemy
If you are wondering how to stop being your own worst enemy, the first place to start is to listen to your self talk. Literally listen to what you are saying to yourself. Is it positive or negative?
